上海市世界外國(guó)語(yǔ)小學(xué)創(chuàng)辦于1993年, 學(xué)校屬于民辦非企業(yè)單位，實(shí)行董事會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下的校長(zhǎng)負(fù)責(zé)制，是上海市事業(yè)類社會(huì)公益一類文明單位，也是國(guó)際文憑組織小學(xué)課程授權(quán)學(xué)校。學(xué)校有兩個(gè)校區(qū)，三個(gè)學(xué)部。西部校區(qū)為境內(nèi)部，位于桂林西街101弄56號(hào)，占地總面積10665 平方米，建筑總面積 6072 平方米，室內(nèi)外運(yùn)動(dòng)總面積3498 平方米，目前有20個(gè)教學(xué)班， 829名學(xué)生。東部校區(qū)為雙語(yǔ)部和融合部，位于浦北路380號(hào)，占地12050平方米，校舍建筑面積8272平方米，室內(nèi)外運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)地面積4282平方米，目前有34個(gè)教學(xué)班，904名學(xué)生。

Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School was set up in 1993, and belongs to a private non-enterprise unit, under the leadership and principles of the school board of directors. The school is the Shanghai Business Social Welfare Model Unit. It is also the International Baccalaureate Organization Authorized World School. The school has two campuses, three departments. The Local Department is in the West Campus which is located at No.56, Lane101, West Guilin Street. It covers an area of 10665m2, the total construction area is 6072m2, indoor and outdoor sports area is 3498m2, currently there are 20 classes, 829 students in the Local Department. The Bilingual Department and Fusion Department are in the East Campus, which is located at No.380, Pubei Road. It covers an area of 12050 m2, construction area is 8272 m2, indoor and outdoor sports area is 4282 m2, and currently there are 34 classes, a total of 904 students.
